This notable building by maori architect John Scott has been refurbished to include a new exhibition covering the timeline from the first peoples to arrive in Aotearoa New Zealand up until the signing of the treaty. A new film has been created for the theatre which has improved seating and acoustic treatments. The retail area has been rationalised and brought into the visitor experience.
